§ 155.5     Bankruptcy Rule 4007: Time for Filing Complaint Objecting to Dischargeability

When the debtor seeks a discharge before completion of all payments, creditors are entitled to notice and an opportunity to file complaints objecting to the dischargeability of debts under § 523(a).1 Bankruptcy Rule 4007(c) fixes the time for filing complaints in a Chapter 13 case to deal with new exceptions to discharge enacted by the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005 (BAPCPA).2
