§ 119.2 — 11 U.S.C. § 1327: Effects of Confirmation

Revised: September 28, 2009

[1]

Section 1327 is one of the most powerful and misunderstood sections of the Code. It defines the binding effect of confirmation of a Chapter 13 plan and provides that property of the Chapter 13 estate vests in the debtor “free and clear of any claim or interest of any creditor provided for by the plan.”
