§ 39.12     Bankruptcy Rule 2003: Meeting of Creditors

Bankruptcy Rule 2003 controls the date, time, place and conduct of the meeting of creditors in a Chapter 13 case.1 After the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005 (BAPCPA),2 there are important issues with respect to “holding open” the meeting of creditors to allow a Chapter 13 debtor to file required tax returns.3
