§ 31.3     Bills and Coupon Books

The debtor should be instructed to bring bills, invoices, statements, coupon books, checkbooks, and payment records to the client interview. From the coupon books and bills, debtor’s counsel (or paralegal) can often capture more or less accurate names and addresses of creditors and account numbers and can construct answers to many of the detailed questions in the schedules.
